But What Do they DO on College Council?

We on College Council have been working hard all year to try to improve the student experience at Emory College. Our Student Concerns Chair Aery Bai has compiled a summary of our progress this year and we would strongly encourage you to look into it if you're interested in running for College Council...or just kinda curious. Check it out here .

Do you know...
A hardworking president? An organization on campus that has really made an impact? An event that was truly spectacular? Or how about someone who has gone above and beyond to make our community a better place? If so, submit your nomination for Organizational President of the year-LL Vice President of Programming Amrit Kapai for more information. Hurry-nominations are due Monday, March 31, 2008 at noon!

Dooley Direct Shuttles: On-Campus Weekend Night Shuttles to Continue

College Council will continue to run on-campus shuttles on Friday and Saturday nights from 11 pm until 3AM to assess student transportation needs.  Stops include Clairmont, Turman, Woodruff Residential Center, Dooley's Depot, and Eagle Row approximately every 20 minutes.  Contact VP Elizabeth Farrar, Chief of Staff Ashlee Tran, or Junior Legislator Benjamin van der Horst for more information.

The College Council Fun Box is on its Way!
Have you ever strolled around Asbury circle or the area between the DUC and Cox Hall during a nice, breezy, sunny day and did not have a blanket, kite, or a Frisbee to enjoy it properly? College Council is going to end the frustration of going all the way back to your dorm for these items. We are stocking a Fun Box with frisbees, kites, and blankets to enjoy this incredible weather Atlanta has been receiving (most of the time) lately! The Fun Box will be at the DUC Info Desk and rentals will be free if you show your Emory Card. Contact Freshman Legislator Mukhtar Voss with any questions or further information.
